What do you listen to?
What do you listen to when designing/coding? What gets your creative juices going or what makes you work harder during crunch time?
I personally like to listen to some good alternative rock for creativity and setting a pace, but when it comes to getting something done quickly, I turn up some techno. Although I can usually only handle 30 minutes or so of techno before it annoys me.

It depends, when I’m at work in the morning I’ll start out with my lighter Pandora stations like Goo Goo Dolls, Coldplay, etc. As the day goes on I listen to some more upbeat rap and stuff for added energy. I really don’t design/code much but I figured I’d answer.
I hear ya on starting out the day with “lighter” music, although most lighter music has some memory attached to it with me so I tend to drift off into memory land when I listen to that style.
