Life Without Facebook and MySpace
Just recently I deleted my Facebook and MySpace account to see what life is like without them and I love it.
I now have 2 less distractions I need to deal with and I am more productive because of it. I no longer have to respond to comments and messages, I don’t have the urge to browse my friend’s profiles to see whats going on in their life. Its not that I don’t care to know whats going on with them, its that I do it less frequently now and in a more personal manner such as a phone call.
(What? Talking? You mean I have to TALK to my friends? Like using my vocal chords? HA! What about LOL’s and smiley faces?)
Get unplugged! I don’t see myself going back to Facebook or MySpace anytime soon because I have no need for it right now. For me it was just a waste of time and productivity.

Disclaimer: I am an introvert by nature. Yay for me.

My name is Noah Everett. I live in Tulsa, OK. I started
Good for you–that’s a tough step to take.
That’s awesome! Been thinking about doing the same with my myspace. I’m an introvert too, and I just don’t feel the need to display to everyone updated pictures all the time, new blog entries, all my interests… My close friends and I “don’t” communicate through myspace anyway! haha (In fact, most of my close freinds don’t even have a myspace… they’re introverts too). We call each other or get together in person. I actually think myspace is more of an extrovert’s world - we introverts just don’t need all that! hahahaha
That may be the best decision you’ve taken in your life. Today I deactivated my facebook account and I feel exactly as if I quit a job I hate .. Like a load had been taken from my shoulders. It is time now to do something useful. It is just I don’t know what is it. I am a little bit unmotivated. But no problem. I will do nothing. Nothing at all; I will deactivate all my accounts. I will stop living for myself, I will wait and wait and wait for something I know is gonna happen to my life, and i dont wanna be busy doing nothing on useless online social networks. Have a nice day and enjoy the Off-Mode
I just deleted my MySpace account a few minutes ago. I have been a member of the web site since 2006. It is now mid-May of 08′ and I was still logging on more than 3 times a day. It was rare if I didn’t get on to check my comments/messages. I wasted so much time on this site, and this is the main reason why I deleted it my page. Believe it or not MySpace can become a bad addiction.
