  2. Lisandro01987 says:

so far they have sold around 400k copies on the first day, and around half that are preorders.

I dont think that 15$ monthly fee is expensive, i mean, they have to keep updating the game, that goes for both Aion and WoW. RIght now blizzard have * 13,250 total server blades * 75,000 CPU cores * 112.5 terabytes of RAMThat costs, that costs alot, and they also have alot of people working for them, that costs alot too, and tbh, i think they could need an improvement on the system since theres alot of daley at som servers, so guys!! dont complain!!

I have played OBT US and it was awesome. Can’t wait til it is released!!!

  5. Sexyslavesarah says:

I completely agree with 5etherial. People get bored doing the same thing all the time. I have been playing WoW for a while and I have grown bored with it. I am not going to quit it forever though, probably until Catacysm comes out. But I am going to play both WoW and this, because the visuals in this are stunning for an MMO. I love the flying system also. Overall this seems like a very new and great experience for people that like MMO’s. And if you don’t feel the same way thats your appinion.

More sales, yes. But not more money in the long run. For example someone could lasts 2 months on $8 with the hours system, whereas it would normally cost $30.The few extra players who play wouldn’t make up the loss in money. People who buy accounts to use as bank alts could make that $8 last maybe half a year or more. So in the long run its more money for NCSoft to use the current monthly fee.

  7. MrRofltime says:

Well thats stupid if they would rather money over more people having fun…….They better not turn into blizzard and get Money hungry, Thats how blizzards Subscriptions have dropped 40% over the last 8 months… Thats over 8 million people.

  8. Rekuiemu says:

Well I guess it costs money to give those people the ability to have fun. They need the money for patches and what not (though I’m not sure how much they need considering they just take Korea’s version and localize it it seems and add minor things). And maybe they think the western market is used to the $15 a month fee and the hourly system would just confuse us? I don’t know.

  9. MrRofltime says:

used to it…. I know so many ppl that quit WoW because the Fee was to expensive any money the same thing is gonna happen here after a while.

  10. Rekuiemu says:

I agree people would have quit wow because of the fee, but that’s a bit weird considering they know the fee when they started playing it. $15 a month really isn’t that expensive. I have to pay $30 a month in my country. You mentioned a 40% subscription drop for blizzard, but in no way is the majority of that because of people not able to afford it. Many are just annoyed that blizzard is catering to casuals too much. Those same people probably don’t have a problem with this fee, over a casual 1.
