Phil Craig from www.DomainsIntoDollars.com interviews the .2 million dollar man, Mickie Kennedy, about being a domainer and selling domain names at auction
Question by TEDDY Z: How do you take your “domain name” from one site builder company to another?
I want to change companies because I found a company that will give me more for my money. But, I registered my domain name with the first company. Is there a way that I can transfer it. I know that if I apply for the same domain name, it will come up as already being used by someone. And that someone is me. So can somebody explain this to me? How can I use my same domain name with the other company who will also host it for me?
Best answer:
Answer by fuzgoat Look at the company sites that you are transferring from/to for a form or FAQ on this. Some sites make it hard to transfer out, but they have to allow this. If you can’t find it on their site, call or email their support number. You can also refer to the ICANN transfer requirements that registrars have agreed to.
This was a story on A Current Affair which was about dangerous driving. By coincidence the car that was fitted with cameras to demonstrate this was directly in front of an accident inside the Domain tunnel, so it was captured on video. Watch the Mercedes move into the centre lane, out of view of the truck’s mirrors as he indicates to change into the same lane. Once the truckie moves left a collision is inevitable. Higher quality capture available here: media.sensationcontent.com FAQS/common comments 1. Australia is a RIGHT HAND drive country. There is a driver in the Merc, you’re just looking on the wrong side. 2. Yes it’s a perfect PIT. You’re about the 100th person to make that joke. 3. The driver is a male, not a female. 4. The Merc does indicate for 3 “blinks” but because of frame cropping this is not visible in this version of the video. Video Rating: 4 / 5

Question by Anonymous: Is other people’s garbage in the “public domain”? That is, can anyone legally see/take other’s trash?
Just wondering, is trash still considered “private property”? If not, who is the rightful owner? Trash company? City? State? Anyone who wants to claim it? Just wondering.

Freddy’s in Brooklyn is a happening place that has been named one of the city’s best bars by the Village Voice, Esquire, and The New York Times. Unfortunately, Freddy’s—and the surrounding neighborhood—is smack-dab in the footprint of the Atlantic Yards project, a multi-million-dollar, 22-acre development that is intended to create “an urban utopia” in the language of developer Bruce Ratner, and a new, publicly subsidized home to Ratner’s Nets, who currently play NBA basketball (if you can call it that) in New Jersey. But don’t mistake Atlantic Yards as one more instance of the market-driven transformations for which New York is rightly famous. It’s actually the latest case of eminent domain abuse, where private property is seized by the state on dubious grounds and then immediately handed over to private interests for private gain. In this case, the Empire State Development Corporation has designated the thriving area as blighted to facilitate the taking of privately owned houses and businesses without having to pay full market value. Ratner, whose partners in the venture include rapper Jay Z and the Russian billionaire Mikhail Prokhorov, stands to pocket hundreds of millions of dollars on the deal, all thanks to the brute force of the state. This week, a Brooklyn Supreme Court ruling tossed out the eminent domain objections of residents and property owners who had held out for six years and Ratner plans to break ground on the site on March 11, if not before. The workers … Video Rating: 4 / 5
