I haven’t checked out beginner crochet vids yet, just haven’t had much time
that guy talking over her is annoying
Like the idea but got completely stuck ‘after the chain bit’ as I can’t crochet. Not sure ‘how to make it go up’ as she sad.
As you start doing going through each loop one at a time it goes up.
This probably isn’t the right video to learn on, but there are lots of crochet tutorials here on youtube. Once you’ve got the basics, you can apply it to anytthing. Check out tjw1963. hth! x
Yes, I will have a look. Those patterns scare me though, look complicated. I find that crochet yarn is expensive so I like the plastic idea.
Don’t be scared! Just start with the basics and take it one stitch at a time. You can get acrylic yarn for cheap, I know what you mean though, why spend money when you have plastic bags around the house already?! Good luck
Go check out the Salvation Army store or other charity shops near you.They are the only places I buy my yarn. I get a bagful for 3 dollars. I gotten enough of the same yarn to knit and crochet socks, gloves etc. My last bargain was black silk 20 skeins!
